What Type of Gift Giver Are You?

First of all, let me start off by saying there is no right or wrong way to give a gift unless you don’t do it at all. Gifts come in all shapes, sizes and price points but the meaning behind them is what matters the most. A gift is meant to be a gesture of love, friendship or just plain thoughtfulness and that is the true meaning of what makes them so special.

With Mother’s Day approaching quickly, I have to imagine gift giving is on everyone’s minds right now. Either you are totally ahead of the game and have everything ready to go for Sunday, or you may have those few remaining gifts to grab or you may be ready to go into panic mode and start furiously shopping online.

For me personally, I try to purchase gifts with intent, meaning that I try to listen and pick up clues whenever and wherever I can, especially for those hard to buy for people. In fact, I have been known to jot down an idea in the Notes section of my phone for reference later on or pick up a gift months in advance that I know is going to be perfect for someone. Don’t get me wrong. While I try to do this regularly, I always seem to have those last remaining gifts that I am trying to figure out.

Today, I thought I would share a few last minute gift ideas for anyone still on the hunt. Keep in mind too that the perfect gift doesn’t have to come with a big price tag. Some of the best gifts are handmade and personal which always means the world to us moms. As I have asked around and brainstormed on things that either I have or would like to have or items that I know other women in my life love, I put together the list below to help out.
